Emily Amphitrite!

Happy Sunday (or Monday!) Friends!
This is such a fun post!  I have the honor of being a Guest Design Team Member for Lacy Sunshine Challenges!  The fun part is showing you the image I had the joy to work with- Emily Amphitrite!  Emily is from Heather's (the artist) new Mythology Collection, available in the Lacy Sunshine Shop.

I had to look up the word "Amphitrite" seeing that I am not a mythology expert, or even a novice (lol).  Seems Amphitrite is a sea-godess from Greek mythology (is there another?) and the wife of Poseidon under the influence of the Olympian pantheon.  I should have known that!  I also discovered that no less than 7 ships of the Royal Navy are named HMS Amphitrite, frigates in both the United States and French Navies, an asteroid and in baby name books!   There is something I do know- Emily Amphitrite was soooo soooo fun to color and make up into a card!

 Isn't she gorgeous?

The theme of this fortnight's challenge is "Anything Goes."  On top of that, Heather gives you one of her fantastic images to use- free!!!  So head on over right now to the Lacy Sunshine Challenge blog, get your free digi, and create yourself into lots of fun!  While you are there, be sure to take a peek at the other Mythology images Heather created, used by her talented Sunshine Girls!  You don't have to use a Lacy Sunshine image to enter the challenge but as soon as you glimpse the images, I bet you'll want to!

That's all from me for now.  I'll see you in a few days.  Until then, I wish you lots of Bright Spots, sunshine, and happiness!

Your friend,
Manderly

  1. Lovely card. I love all Heather's digis and have a lot now. Heather is sponsoring Feeling Sketchy challenges for June. She has been very generous and given each of the design team one of her digis to use.
