Sweet Butterfly and Poppies

Hello my Friends!
This is my very first post for Crafty Sentiments Designs!  I made the Design Team!  Yipee!  I am so excited and very honored to have been chosen to be on such a classy, super talented, fantastic images, all-around wonderful Design Team as Crafty Sentiments!  I was shaking in me boots, wondering if I would make the cut....lo and behold, I received my email a few weeks back.  I hit the roof, running to my hubby (after writing my best friend), "I made it!  I made it!"  My hubby just didn't get it- lol!  I'm sure you understand what I am saying.  A sweetheart but not with things that are important in this world, like card making and design teams! LOL  He loves politics, yet so do I, that at least gives us both something to get excited about!  Speaking of politics, the theme for Crafty Sentiments Challenge is Poppies.  I was thinking to myself, "I wonder why poppies?"  Then I remembered the older men years ago standing in front of stores selling paper poppies to pin on one's lapel.  It is done in remembrance of our Veterans.  Then I read that in the UK and Australia, they celebrate this day in November, thus the poppy theme, me thinks anyway!  I haven' t seen any men selling poppies for ages.  I think this is because most of the World War II Veterans's here in America have passed on.  My Dad is a World War II Veteran and he is 86 now.  We all love our Veteran's, no matter where we live, don't we?  Thank you Veteran's and Active Service Men and Women for protecting us.  Without further comment from me, here is my Crafty Sentiment card, using the stamp Sweet Butterfly:

She is sweet, isn't she?  Sweet Butterfly is a stamp about 3 1/2" by 5".  You can get her and many other divine stamps and digitals from the Crafty Sentiment Designs Store.  She is colored with Prisma Pencils.  Added french knots to the poppies and her paper-pieced hair bow.  The pearled pin up there in the ribbon corner was a gift from my friend Karen CThank you, Karen!  The winner of our Poppy challenge will receive an extra this week, a L10 Voucher to spend at the Crafty Sentiments Store!  Quite a nice win, don't you think?

Such a flurry of posts over the past few days, now all will be quiet from me for a bit.  I feel like I have forgotten something important.  Well anyway, you are important and I hope to see your makes on our Poppy challenge.  I love looking at your creations, knowing how much you put into each.  While there, look at my teamie's projects as you are sure to be inspired.  They are a very talented bunch!  And always, remember to watch for Bright Spots!  Please share one with me...would so love to hear.  Haven't had a share yet!
