I had the privilege to make up a Saturated Canary image named "Princess Honor".  She is sooo beautiful!  Have a look-

Colored with those Prisma Pencils, adding a chalked pink cloudy sky.  I'm taking advantage of that Christmas present Bigkick for sure!  Honey, I need new dies!!!

Boop Boop Dee Betsy!

As in Betsy from Stitchy!  It's One Stitch AT A Time time!  Boop Boop dee(?) Boop!  It's a lovely Sunday morning, don' you think?  And have I a grand challenge for you!  What can't we live without?  Your right!!!  You guessed it!  LOVE!!!   Ahhhh, the pleasure of it all...tingling from your head to your toes.  Not hungry, can't sleep, preoccupied.  Sort of like when you sink your teeth into your favorite chocolate.  Yes, love.  Okay, snap out of it, Manderly and get going on this post!!!  Well, aren't us artists the romantic type?  I've known a few who totally make this a lie, but never mind.  Okay, here is Betsy, drawn by Stitchy, available in the StitchyBear Store, made for the One Stitch At A Time Challenge, with the theme this week of "Love."

This has to be one of my favorite images to color and make up into a card!  Colored with Prisma Pencils, Romantic Rectangle Dies, ribbon and lace from Hobby Lobby.  I decorated the inside but you notice I forgot to take a picture of that!

I am positive my Teamies have had fun with this challenge at OSAAT too, so let's both head over there and see what they are up to!  Fall in love this week, fall in love again this week, find something or someone to love, love the One above, and make a luuuuuv card!

Blitz!!!

Well, hello there!  Happy Tuesday!  Very first thing...thank you sooooo much to my new followers!  Gosh, it feels nice.  I look forward to our card making adventures!  Heartfelt thanks.  xxxooo

Onto this fortnights post....it's Crafty Sentiments Designs time!  Today, I have for you BLITZ...what a cool name, huh?  Speaking of "cool," our theme for the next 2 weeks is "Winter Fun!"  Blitz looks warm in her cozy sweater as she strolls outside having winter fun!

Besides Blitz, I used Birdhouse and Quotes and Phrases for All Sentiments, which are all CSD digital images.  The Birdhouse has really neat roses on it and a little bird, which I covered with a few WOC roses. Birdhouse looks wonderful without the emellishments added. I colored Blitz with Prisma Pencils and used my Christmas present BigKick to cut the oval and Birds on a Wire.  What fun!

I am entering Forever Friends Monthly Challenge- Birthdays

A story and a very "Special Delivery"

Hello all!

I hope this finds you doing well, getting back into your routines after the holidays.  There is sort of a comfort in routine, yes?  Boring tho sometimes!

I have a quick little story for you- how do you lose your dog in your house?  Well, it happened to me just the other day.  Our pup, U-lee, follows me around like a shadow especially when Larry, U-lee's twin, is gone running errands.  Larry is my DH.  My printer is set up in another room of the house and we keep this door closed when not in use.  I printed and knew U-lee had followed me into the room.  I said, "Let's Go," and thought he was right behind me.  About 20 minutes later, as I was crafting, I looked to see if U-lee was on his blanket.  No U-lee.  So I checked U-lee's recliner (use to be mine).  Not there.  I checked the printing room.  Not there.  Okay, so now I've checked all the usual spots.  I knew I hadn't let him outside, so he couldn't have been out there.  I checked anyway, doubting my memory.  Now I am more frantic, starting to tear up, running run to run, looking under beds and in closets, "U-lee!"  Then I tried bribing him.  He's always good for a treat. "U-lee, you want a treat?"  Still no U-lee.  Larry calls me in the middle of this and I tell him, "I can't find U-lee!."  "What do you mean you can't find U-lee?"  Finally, in the print room, I looked under the bed one more time, and there he was, tucked way back in a corner, just shivering.  I think what happened is that he went to follow me out of the print room, and I slammed the door on him....several times!!!  Poor little guy was just shivering as I cuddled him.  He must have thought I was mad at him as we will sometimes put him in "his room," if he has been bad.  Can you just picture the scene of running room to room, looking high and low, crying U-lee? He was lost for about half an hour.  What a relief to find him, I tell you.  And he did manage to get a treat out of me!  Silly story!

Now onto other news, great news!  I am proud to say that I am on Penny's Paper-Crafty Design Team!  We are a weekly challenge with super cool sponsors.  Our theme this week is "Anything Goes," everyone's favorite, I think!  Today, I have an image created by a very talented digital artist named Kathryne.  She is the Art in StampArt Designs!  Kathryne also designs for Whimsy Stamps.

Kathryne's logo is even adorable!  She just came out with a new release named "Matti and Kristi," the first in line of new StampArt characters.  You've got to see this image, you will fall in love with this captivating couple!  In fact, you'll love all of StampArt's digis!

This image is called "Special Delivery." What a treat to color and make into a card!

Colored with good ol' Prisma Pencils, and buttons for wheels.  He is a cutie for sure.  StampArt's "Special Delivery" comes with a bonus sentiment that says, "Hello Friend."

Kia and Her New Home

Happy Tuesday!  Happy New Year!  Officially 2013...wow.  Never imagined 2013 back in 1965! Now did you?

Here we are with Kia, a real cutie-pie from Crafty Sentiments Designs.  That "Kitty on Wall" is from Crafty Sentiments also!  Super background image.  Kia is colored with Prisma Pencils  and is surrounded by die cuts from my BFF- the tree, hearts and flowers in the front.  Really cute add ons.  The ribbon is a new one I found from our local craft store and it is made of burlap and comes in lots of colors.  I find myself using it a lot.  I also added some Glamour Dust to the flowers and tree leaves, the background is made up with water color pencils and pencil strokes of grass.  That's it! Kia was so much fun to color and work into a card.  It looks like the place this sweetheart card is going to, my sister in law who recently moved back to the foothills of California where my husband grew up.  And she loves to garden.
